Also, at least we'll get to see the Bonnie Tyler song that was wiped previously. I didn't protest, by the way, I just sat back and hoped for the best, which has happended.Arthur Nibblenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6190903519028956778.post-58155476888923999492012-04-05T16:50:07.248+01:002012-04-05T16:50:07.248+01:00Yeah, on that whole 31/3/77 thing... the outrage a...Yeah, on that whole 31/3/77 thing... the outrage at it not being shown seemed to start weeks before whether it'd actually be shown or not was ever due to appear in initial advance schedules, and there were a couple of occasions last year where the early listings skipped a week which were corrected before broadcast. Basically, I don't really think anyone knows what state it's in as it hasn't been broadcast in any form for 35 years and the previous Diddy recoveries seemed alright.

Also, putting Legs & Co aside, seven of its eight songs are on again or have been on.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05834265575179460764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6190903519028956778.post-64998096116788690322012-04-05T10:28:32.463+01:002012-04-05T10:28:32.463+01:00This site’s been a Godsend. It’s (re)opened my eyes to the musical and fashion styles of the time, both hit and miss, it’s caused me to raid iTunes for stuff I’d never had contemplated buying at the time, it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable rollercoaster journey, and the late news that the fabled cobbled together or 'not quite up to transmission standard' 31st March 1977 edition WILL now be shown (after much to-ing and fro-ing and a concerted mass complaint from Pop-ites) almost makes up for the disappointment of getting Patrick over Easter. This is the gift that keeps on giving!Arthur Nibblenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6190903519028956778.post-25965776063008546902012-04-02T13:22:19.709+01:002012-04-02T13:22:19.709+01:00it's been a great and unmissable ride so far, ...it's been a great and unmissable ride so far, but in my opinion nothing has yet outdone (or even equalled) fox with "s-s-s-single bed" (the totp version actually knocks the official recording into a cocked hat)... i can't believe i let that one slip out of my life for over 30 years, but thanks to these old shows it's now back with a vengeance!wilberforcehttp://www.gavinunderhill.co.uk/noreply@blogger.com
